We use “queer” as a positive, inclusive term that describes many different identities, even though we realize that the term used to be derogative.

We’re called Glacier Queer Alliance, but we seek to also include everybody that want to be allies to our LQBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual, and so forth) friends. This includes but is not limited to: two spirited, gender queer, non binary, allies, friends and family.

Mission Statement:
The Glacier Queer Alliance (GQA) is focused on providing positive, safe, community resources, events, and spaces for people of all gender identities and sexual orientations in the Flathead Valley.

Vision Statement:
GQA envisions a community center in the Flathead valley to drive this mission.
