The newly formed Alpine Theatre Project produces world-class musical theatre and drama showcasing seasoned professionals with major credits. Providing Whitefish with the opportunity to see actors, directors, and productions that would normally only be seen in major metropolitan areas. Two recent productions included a Broadway play titled “Art,” and a Broadway musical titled “Songs for a New World.”

Whitefish claims nineteen “Art Spots,” including galleries, retail shops
and exhibits. Restaurants commonly have their own exhibits from local
artists with artwork for sale. Montana scenery and wildlife is a popular
subject of local artists, but there is something for everyone, from
pottery to metalwork, from western to
modern. Stop in the Chamber for a
map of Art Spots to start your tour.
During the summer months, the first
Thursday of each month, twelve Art
Galleries in Whitefish host Gallery
Nights. Kids also have many
opportunities to make and see art,
and attend theatre camps.

Glacier Symphony and Chorale has been offering outstanding performances of the world's greatest music ofr the past 27 years! Flathead Valley has the rare fortune to have such a high caliber music organization, for this treasure is rarely found in communities of its size.
Our Music Director, John Zoltek, programs a variety of classical repertoire and highlights the annual concert series with world-class guest musicians, ranging from pianists to symphonic harmonica players. Each season is filled with a variety of music that will stir the soul!
